securing
the
financial resources needed to support critical programs and
services.
Besides
providing grant writing services, Partec conducts training
workshops
on
grant writing and other resource development topics for
local and
national
organizations. Some of Partec’s accomplishments
include:
Bethel
New Life:
Secured a $2.7 million grant from the U.S. Department of
Labor to execute
a Welfare-to-Work demonstration project.
Abraham Lincoln Centre:
Secured a $5 million grant from the U.S.
Department of Labor to execute a
Welfare-to-Work demonstration project.
Lutheran Family Mission:
Secured more than $750,000 in grants to expand
the organization’s
childcare services.
Women
Self-Employment Project:
Secured more than $1 million in grants
from various public and private
funding sources to support ongoing micro-
enterprise development initiatives
targeting low-income women in Chicago.
Chicago Area Project:
Secured a $70,000 grant from a national foundation
for to continue a
special youth program.
National Congress for Community Economic Development:
Secured a
$375,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Justice to implement
a
national technical assistance project.
Mississippi Minority
Business Enterprise Division:
Secured a
$230,000 grant
from the U.S. Department of Commerce, Minority
Business Development
Agency to establish a minority business development program
in the state
of Mississippi.
Proviso-Leyden Council for Community Action,
Inc.: Secured more
than
$1 million in public and private sector grants to support more than
thirty
different programs and services offered by this organization.
Bay
Area Community Development Corporation:
Secured a $75,000
planning grant to help prepare this community development
corporation in
implementing a major economic development project in the
community.
Pee Dee Community Action Agency:
Helped the agency in securing a
$200,000 grant from the state to implement a
workforce development
program.
